Everyone is looking for free family fun. “Art in Unusual Places” could be just what you are looking for. Please come out and join master gardeners, artists painting live in plein air style, as well as an opportunity for your family to join in helping create a community art project.
The free event open to the public will include stories read aloud for kids of all ages. People can talk to master gardeners on all gardening topics from garden concepts, planning, planting to which soil and products may work best in their region. The “Art in Unusual Places” event will also spotlight art in our community by having local artists set up with their preferred medium in hand painting plein air style in the open gardens for friends and family to view, talk to, and enjoy the best community get together in October.
The event will take place at the historic “Noland House” which has been added to Heritage Park’s historical

The Henry County Arts Alliance, Henry County Master Gardeners, and Visual Arts Collective will be gathered for the event Saturday October 13 from 1pm until 4pm.
